Nexteer Automotive has commenced construction on a new smart manufacturing facility in Liuzhou, China, marking a significant step in its strategic growth within the APAC steering market. The new facility is designed to boost in-house production of critical components, such as Column-Assist Electric Power Steering (CEPS) systems and Modular Power Packs, which are essential for the safety and integration of intelligent vehicle platforms. Spanning over 40,000 square meters, the site will include advanced laboratories, test tracks, and an employee center, with operations expected to commence in the first half of 2026.
