RTL Expands Williamsburg’s Culinary Landscape with Three New Restaurants

Williamsburg’s reputation as a hotspot for innovative dining options is set to grow with the addition of three new restaurants, thanks to the efforts of RTL, a prominent retail brokerage firm. These establishments, spanning over 5,000 square feet within a five-block radius, promise to enrich the local food scene with diverse culinary offerings.

One of the notable additions is a new concept at 62 South 2nd Street by the creators of Nobody Told Me, a celebrated cocktail bar with locations in DUMBO and the Upper West Side. Meanwhile, Pally, an all-day café and wine bar at 223 Kent Avenue, has already begun serving the community since its June opening, offering a transition from daytime coffee and meals to evening wine and small plates. The third, Matsunori Sushi Club, brings its unique pink sushi rice and BYOB omakase experience from the Lower East Side to 340 Metropolitan Avenue.

Michael Shkreli and Eli Gold of RTL played pivotal roles in these transactions, ensuring the new venues align with Williamsburg’s dynamic atmosphere. Shkreli remarked on the neighborhood’s rapid growth, fueled by an increasing number of high-quality retail and food and beverage options. These openings not only reflect Williamsburg’s evolving character but also signal a broader trend of culinary expansion in walkable, high-traffic areas across New York City.
