The service has already demonstrated strong market demand, with over 140,000 policies issued to date. Leading this venture is Ekaterina Lotuashvili, whose extensive experience in the insurance sector spans 25 years across the UK and Georgia, including a tenure at Lloyd’s of London.
This expansion is part of TBC Uzbekistan’s ongoing efforts to solidify its position as Central Asia’s premier digital banking ecosystem. The company has seen remarkable growth, with its user base now exceeding 50% of Uzbekistan’s population and significant year-on-year revenue and loan book growth in Q1 2025. Recent product launches, such as the Salom debit card, Osmon credit card, and SME banking and lending services, have further enriched its ecosystem, fostering deeper customer engagement.
